Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of children in various settings, including classrooms, outdoor play areas, and activity spaces Plan and facilitate engaging youth group activities, sports, arts, theater, and educational programs that promote development and teamwork Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, following established protocols to ensure children's health and safety Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance in collaboration with educators or specialists Lead outdoor work activities such as sports coaching, nature walks, or camp-style adventures that promote physical activity and outdoor learning Foster a welcoming environment through Christian counseling or mentorship when applicable, encouraging personal growth and moral development Experience Prior experience working with children in educational settings, childcare centers, camps, or youth programs is highly valued Demonstrated classroom management skills coupled with knowledge of childhood development principles Certification in first aid, CPR/AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols are required for safety compliance Experience facilitating youth group activities or teaching young children in sports, theater, tutoring or similar environments is preferred Background in special education or working with children with diverse needs enhances your ability to support all learners effectively Proven team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and communicate clearly with parents or guardians Outdoor work experience that demonstrates adaptability and enthusiasm for engaging children in outdoor learning experiences Join us as a School Aged Child Care Worker to inspire young minds through dynamic activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.
