80 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Education Child Development Early Childhood Education Time management Full Job Description Rebecca's Learning Center is seeking a creative, nurturing, energetic, and responsible individuals to be a preschool lead or assistant teachers. Position is full time and candidate would need to be available Monday thru Friday. This is a leadership position that requires teacher to be authoritative, detailed, and able to master and oversee the program. Rebecca's Learning Center is located on Wise Road in Commerce Twp., MI. Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
  • Be a good judge of character and reputation (this includes social media)
  • Must dress professional and have good personal hygiene
  • Be of a positive disposition and must love children
  • Have reliable transportation, are dependable and punctual
  • Must be able to sustain a high level of energy, to stand for long periods, and list up to 50 lbs.
  • Have experience working with young children
  • Have or plan to complete a degree in Early Childhood Education or Development, with a commitment to education and learning
  • Assistant do not need this degree, but this degree is easily attainable

Responsibilities Include:
  • The safety, education and care of every young scholar in our programs
  • Implementing lessons and activities to support development and keep children engaged both indoors and outdoors
  • Supervising and engaging in play with children
  • Providing for children's personal and social needs including: diapering, dressing, preparation, and cleaning up before and after all meals
  • Notating developmental progress and areas in need of support to assist in assessment
  • Communicating positively and politely with the children, staff, and parents
  • Maintaining an exceptionally clean and a safe environment.
This includes all housekeeping duties done daily, such as, but not limited to: vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen area and bathroom, as well as, keep a neat and organized classroom. How to contact Rebecca's Learning Center for a position:
