Job Overview Provide nursery care for children, newborn to 4 years of age on Sunday mornings and other religious holidays while their parent(s)/guardian(s) attend worship and other church activities; occasionally care for children aged birth through 5th grade during non-worship events and activities as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be aged 18 years or older, have previous childcare experience, the ability to skillfully, safely, and reliably supervise and engage multiple children with a co-worker, as well as demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults to foster a positive, safe, nurturing, trusted environment in a faith-based community. Background check and Safer Gatherings training required (provided by Dearborn First UMC). Other relevant training a plus (ex. First Aid, CPR, active shooter) or can be made available once hired

Compensation/Commitment :

Hourly rate (minimum wage) Part-time / Occasional / Hourly - Sunday mornings, plus some weeknights and religious holidays as needed.

Pay:

$13.73 per hour
