Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic medical imaging role at a Level III Trauma Center, specializing in CT procedures using state-of-the-art Toshiba and GE equipment. This contract assignment runs from September 21, 2026, to December 12, 2026, offering the chance to work in diverse ER and OR settings within a collaborative environment.
Schedule:
Third shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Rotation:
Every 3rd weekend 40 hours per week; 8-hour shifts
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist ARRT (R) certification and BLS (AHA) required Versatility in general X-ray, c-arms, and flow exams is highly valued Proficiency working within emergency and operating room environments
Core Responsibilities:
Perform computerized tomographic and diagnostic radiology exams with a high level of patient care Clearly explain procedures and ensure patients are comfortable and properly prepared Review clinical requisitions; gather supplemental patient history as needed Set up procedure rooms, maintain supply inventory, and prepare necessary materials Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, adhering to advanced radiation safety standards (ALARA) Administer IV contrast media while monitoring for reactions and providing immediate care if needed Assist radiologists during complex interventional procedures Manage imaging workflow in PACS, resolving exceptions to maintain accurate diagnostic records Complete all documentation within the radiology information system (RIS) Collaborate with the team to uphold hospital standards of professionalism, communication, and service This is an excellent opportunity to further your expertise in an advanced trauma care setting, utilizing leading imaging technology in a supportive, high-energy environment.
