Job Description
We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and motivated individual to join our team as a Lead Teacher in our Infant Room. (Birth-1 year) This shift is Monday through Friday.
- Our facility is open from 7am-5:30pm.

Requirements:
- First Aid & CPR certified
- Willing to complete the mandatory initial training and maintain annual professional development hours
- Finger printing/Background clearance. We will reimburse after 3 months of continuous employment
- MUST have a minimum of 480 hours of child related experience (does not include babysitting or raising children) with valid child development associate credential (CDA), or a higher degree/coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child development, or a child related field.

- Must be punctual
- Valid work related verification Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating a warm, safe, clean, positive, and inviting environment for children, parents, and staff
- Planning and implementing weekly lesson plans and activities for children
- Teaching of general education, of individual children, as well as those with learning challenges and special needs. Lead an inclusive classroom!
- Setting and working on developmental goals for each child
- Creating monthly newsletters for parents/guardians
- Maintain records of developmental assessments & anecdotes
- Parent Teacher Conferences/Meeting
- Adhering to and setting schedules for children
- Cultivate and maintaining positive and professional relationships with parents, staff, and agencies
- Working with, supervising, and leading a team of teacher assistants
- Observe and document behavioral and learning abilities for Kindergarten transitioning
- Planning and executing outdoor/indoor, large motor activities, appropriate to the developmental level of children
- Collaborating with co-teachers and administration with large group projects, monthly themes, etc.
