Job Description
KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Teacher for the Flat Rock Community School Building to support young children's growth and learning. In this on-site role, you will design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons, fostering curiosity, independence, and social-emotional skills. You will create a safe, inclusive classroom, maintain routines, and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards. Collaborating with families and colleagues, you'll document progress, communicate regularly with parents, and participate in professional development, contributing to KinderCare's mission of nurturing each child's potential. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe and assess children's development and document progress. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily experiences. Maintain classroom routines, behavior expectations, and safety standards. Collaborate with teammates to support center-wide educational goals. Prepare and organize learning materials and classroom spaces. Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance.
