Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and early childhood development skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social-emotional skills. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and learning across various domains such as language, literacy education, and numeracy. Help with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. Support toddlers and preschool-aged children during routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play. Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum activities aligned with Montessori or other early childhood education philosophies. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or special education is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
