The position is for Monday through Friday from 6:30-12:30 or 12-6pm. We do require a combination of morning and at least 2 afternoon shifts to ensure proper over seeing of your room. The Lead Teacher supports the staff, creates and implements lesson plans, communicates with clients, and maintains the daily programming. Other tasks include supervising the classroom, helping with meals, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and directing staff in other daily care tasks.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of a CDA or an associates degree in a child related field The ability to meet state licensing requirements for education and experience Must pass a background check, get CPR and first aid certified, and have an up to date TB test. (Horizon will cover the costs to achieve each of these requirements upon hiring) We believe our quality of care is only as good as the staff we maintain.
