Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education community as a ChildCare Center Assistant Director! In this dynamic leadership role, you will support the overall management and daily operations of a licensed childcare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. You will collaborate closely with staff, families, and community partners to promote high-quality early childhood experiences. Your leadership will help shape the future of our youngest learners while fostering a positive, compliant, and growth-oriented center culture. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily center operations, ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations and quality standards Support curriculum development initiatives that promote childhood development, school readiness, and inclusive practices Supervise and evaluate teaching staff, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional quality Manage budgets effectively as part of the senior leadership team, including planning, monitoring expenses, and ensuring financial sustainability Lead strategic planning efforts to align center goals with community needs and educational best practices Facilitate staff meetings, training sessions, and faculty evaluations to foster a collaborative team environment Coordinate fundraising activities and community outreach efforts to support program growth and resource acquisition Ensure adherence to legal requirements related to early childhood education, special education law, and educational compliance regulations Support personnel management tasks such as hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and conflict resolution Maintain open communication with families through regular updates, meetings, and parent engagement initiatives Skills Extensive experience in early childhood education with a strong background in classroom instruction and childhood development principles Proven management skills with experience supervising school staff and leading teams effectively Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for preschool that supports diverse learning needs Strong understanding of educational laws including special education law and licensing regulations for childcare centers Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, fundraising, and managing resources at an administrative level Skilled in professional development facilitation for educators to enhance instructional practices and compliance standards Excellent public speaking abilities to communicate confidently with staff, families, stakeholders, and community partners Familiarity with school legal issues related to personnel management and educational regulation compliance Demonstrated leadership in school or early childhood program administration with a focus on continuous improvement Ability to navigate complex operational challenges while maintaining a positive center culture focused on childhood growth Join us in shaping the future by leading with passion and purpose! Pay:
$19.65 - $20.41 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
