Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Full-Time Infant Toddler Lead Teacher to join our supportive early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Your expertise will help foster early learning, social-emotional growth, and physical development while ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development for infants and toddlers Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting, while maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment Manage classroom routines effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster a collaborative relationship Incorporate child development instruction principles to support individual learning styles and developmental stages Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies at all times Utilize experience working with children to adapt activities for children with special education needs or early intervention requirements Maintain detailed lesson plans, progress notes, and assessments aligned with early childhood education standards Engage in ongoing professional development related to preschool teaching, childhood development, and classroom best practices Support standardized testing procedures when applicable and assist in tutoring or additional educational support as needed Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting, with a focus on infants and toddlers Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management approaches for young children Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners Certification in first aid and CPR preferred, but not required; additional certifications in childhood development or early childhood education preferred This is a physically demanding position, requiring the ability to get up and down from the floor easily, as well as the ability to lift 40+ lbs. Experience with daycare or private school environments is advantageous but not mandatory Our faith-based program incorporates praying with the children, teaching them what a prayer request is, as well as teaching from our faith-based curriculum.
Pay:
$14.50 - $15.50 per hour Expected hours: 34.0 - 40.0 per week
