Job Description
KinderCare is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide learning and care for young children in our early childhood classroom. You will design developmentally appropriate lessons, foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment, and model best practices for classroom staff. Responsibilities include assessing developmental progress, maintaining licensing and safety standards, and building strong partnerships with families. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily lessons for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom activities. Coach and support assistant teachers and classroom staff. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. Adapt learning activities to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with center leadership on classroom goals and initiatives. Maintain classroom records, attendance, and incident reports. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
