Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will inspire young learners, foster a nurturing environment, and lead classroom activities that promote growth, curiosity, and social development. Your expertise in childhood development and classroom management will ensure each child receives personalized care and educational support. Duties Lead engaging preschool classroom activities that support early childhood development and learning objectives Supervise and care for children across various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and CPR certification standards Manage behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental assessments, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws Qualifications Proven experience working with children in childcare, daycare, preschool, or similar settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Certified in first aid and CPR; ongoing training preferred Demonstrated ability to plan activities tailored to toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety and well-being at all times Effective communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom experience in early childhood settings Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Previous nannying or babysitting experience is a plus but not required; a genuine passion for nurturing young children is essential Join us as a Lead Preschool Teacher to shape the future of our youngest learners!
