Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children across various age groups. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences while ensuring every child feels loved and supported. Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and naps to ensure their safety and well-being Support classroom management by implementing age-appropriate activities aligned with curriculum goals Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns in a warm and professional manner Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws when necessary Support teachers in implementing individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities Participate in ongoing training related to child development instruction, behavior management, and early childhood education best practices Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques is highly valued Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) is required or obtainable upon hire Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and early childhood education standards is advantageous Work Location In person Work Remotely No Job TypeSchedule Full Time Schedule 8 hour shift (8 AM - 5 PM) 1 hour lunch break Monday to Friday Education High school or equivalent (Required) Join us to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while growing your career in a supportive and dynamic environment!
Pay:
$13.75 - $19.16 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
