Joyful Tots Early Learning Schools is seeking motivated individuals interested in building a career in early childhood education through a structured Registered Apprenticeship Program. The Early Childhood Educator Apprentice will work in a licensed early childhood learning environment while receiving paid on-the-job learning, mentoring, competency development, and related technical instruction through The ECE Architects Registered Apprenticeship Program.

Apprentices will learn to:

• Support children's development, learning, and well-being
• Maintain active supervision and safe classroom practices
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and learning experiences
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Support developmentally appropriate curriculum and play-based learning
• Follow health, safety, licensing, and program requirements
• Participate in structured mentoring and competency-based learning
• Complete required related technical instruction
• Demonstrate progressive skill development throughout the apprenticeship
• Develop the professionalism, judgment, and competencies needed for advancement in early childhood education

Qualifications:

• Interest in pursuing a career in early childhood education
• Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and coworkers
• Willingness to participate in mentoring, training, and competency evaluation
• Ability to meet applicable child care licensing and background requirements
• Prior early childhood experience is not required This is a paid Registered Apprenticeship opportunity that combines employment, structured training, mentorship, and progressive professional development.
