00/hour | Monday-Friday Early Spark Academy & Childcare is hiring two part-time Floater Teachers to support our growing early childhood program. If you enjoy variety, working with different age groups, and being part of a collaborative team, this may be a great fit! Two Schedules Available 7:15 AM-1:00 PM OR 9:45 AM-3:30 PM What You'll Do Provide classroom coverage and support across age groups Cover teacher breaks and planning/preparation time Assist with transitions, routines, rest time, and indoor/outdoor experiences Engage with children through play, conversation, and learning experiences Use positive, developmentally appropriate guidance Provide additional support when children or classrooms need it Assist with daily meal service, including preparation, portioning, dishes, and cleanup Help keep classrooms and shared spaces safe, organized, and welcoming Step into different areas of the program based on daily needs Our Floaters are cross-trained, but may have different primary responsibilities. One may spend more time supporting meal service and morning operations, while another may focus more on classroom coverage, teacher breaks, prep time, and afternoon support. What We're Looking For Experience working with young children Dependable, flexible, patient, and team-oriented Comfortable working with different classrooms and age groups Able to actively engage with children throughout the day Comfortable supporting both classroom and meal-service needs CDA/ECE coursework or licensed childcare experience is a plus, but not required Compensation $16.00
