Job Description
KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers to join our Okemos center, providing high-quality early childhood education and care. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that nurture each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. You will maintain a safe, inclusive classroom, build strong partnerships with families, and collaborate with a supportive team. Responsibilities Create and deliver developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children. Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment. Supervise children and support their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate regularly with families about child progress and daily activities. Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership on curriculum and activities. Observe and document children's growth and milestones. Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
