Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress. Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment. Incorporate first aid practices as needed to ensure the safety of all children in your care. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience in Childcare settings or similar roles such as babysitting, nannying, or childcare is highly desirable. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage children effectively. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred or must be obtained upon hiring. Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and the community to support children's learning needs. A nurturing demeanor with patience and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
