Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports children with special education needs or early intervention requirements. Engage children in hands-on activities, lessons, and play-based learning to enhance cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Monitor and assess individual progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate children's progress, address behavioral concerns, and support overall child welfare. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare and daycare practices. Incorporate teaching physical education, tutoring sessions, and literacy activities to foster well-rounded development in young students. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred; familiarity with toddler care and classroom management is highly valued. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education strategies, and special education techniques. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members. Certification or training in early intervention or child welfare is a plus; relevant coursework in literacy education or math is desirable. A genuine passion for working with students at the preschool level combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering young minds.
