Administrative assistant will assist the Early Childhood Director and other staff in providing exceptional educational service to students, parents, staff, and community members.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred. Training in or experience in education and clerical skills preferred. Must lead by example and positively contribute to the culture and environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Dedication to adhering to Frankenmuth School District's policies and procedures. CPR and First Aid. Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word). Professionalism in attendance and punctuality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for a number of clerical and data entry tasks. Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. General office and receptionist duties, including answering phones and emails; working with parents, teachers, students, and staff members. Checks students and visitors in or out of the building. Greeting visitors and parents, accepting deliveries.
Communications:
making copies, labels, early childhood messages, and newsletters. Handle and input payments as necessary. Maintains health department and immunization reports. Verifying enrollment and registration paperwork is received and completed. Childcare employee paperwork, verification, and scheduling of childcare fingerprinting Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
