Schedule Must be able to work a split shift- 7:00-9:30 AND 3:00-5:30 Responsibilities Supervise children during before- and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate engaging youth group activities, including arts, sports, outdoor play, and educational games Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions Implement first aid protocols when necessary, including CPR and AED operation, to address minor injuries or emergencies promptly Support children with homework assistance or tutoring to reinforce learning and build confidence Coordinate outdoor activities and supervise field trips or outdoor work experiences in accordance with safety guidelines Collaborate with team members to develop age-appropriate programming that supports childhood development and youth engagement Experience Prior experience working with children in childcare, camp settings, youth programs, or similar environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols required; ongoing training provided if needed Experience working with special education needs or in inclusive settings is a plus Background in youth development programs, sports coaching, theater arts, or babysitting enhances suitability for this role Outdoor work experience and ability to lead outdoor activities safely are advantageous Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities in supervising children This position is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering positive youth experiences through energetic engagement and responsible supervision. Pay:
