In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, implement engaging curricula, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Your leadership will ensure that our preschool program meets high standards of educational excellence while adhering to state regulations and best practices in early childhood education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives and support their early learning journey. Duties Lead and supervise preschool classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Collaborate with staff to create individualized learning plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among children Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and encourage family involvement in the child's development Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety issues Maintain detailed records of classroom activities, assessments, and child progress using standardized testing methods when appropriate Skills Extensive experience working with children in preschool, early childhood settings or daycare. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Proven ability to lead a team of educators while fostering collaboration and professional growth Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team coordination Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of health and safety regulations for young children. If not certified, company will pay for your training.
