We have been in business for 30 years. We are looking for responsible full time/part time, infant/toddler/preschool assistant teachers with prior childcare experience. We are looking for candidates that are as passionate about the growth and development of the precious children in our care as we are. We are most interested in talking to applicants that have a CDA, High School diploma or equivalent, experience working in a licensed childcare facility, any experience caring for children, degree or coursework in early childhood education or child development, impeccable references and a proven track record of caring and nurturing children to provide them with a great start to their educational careers. Must be at least 17 years of age and have reliable transportation and be dependable. We are looking for part time and full time caregivers. Great afternoon job for High Schoolers who are 17.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
  • Create and maintain a daily schedule for the children
  • Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
  • Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom of children, including those with special needs such as autism
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and curriculum development
Skills:
  • Math skills for teaching basic counting, shapes, and other early math concepts
  • Experience working with students to support their educational needs
  • Knowledge of childhood development to create engaging activities that promote growth and learning
  • Ability to provide quality childcare in a nurturing and safe environment
  • Classroom management skills to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum to provide appropriate support and accommodations
  • Ability to educate children through interactive play and structured activities
  • Understanding of early childhood education principles to develop age-appropriate curriculum for young learners
  • Familiarity with daycare regulations and best practices for providing quality care
