ECFE Child Educator Inspire young minds. Support families. Make a lasting impact! Are you passionate about early childhood education and building strong relationships with children and parents? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ECFE Child Educator to join our team for the school year! As an ECFE Child Educator, you will play a vital role in creating engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children and their families. You'll help children grow, guide parents in supporting their child's development, and foster a welcoming environment where every family feels valued.
Position Details Position:
ECFE Child Educator Schedule:
Up to 20 hours per week, during the school year
Wage:
$33.86-$41.52 per hour
Education/Licensure:
College degree and/or Early Childhood Teaching License, as required by the position What You'll Do Plan, organize, and implement high-quality early childhood education programming for assigned ECFE classes. Develop engaging curriculum and weekly lesson plans for parent-child activities and the child component of the program. Create inclusive, age-appropriate classroom environments that reflect children's individual learning styles and diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Build positive, supportive relationships with children and parents while serving as a model for nurturing interactions and early learning. Collaborate with the ECFE Coordinator, classroom assistants, and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) staff to meet the individual needs of children and families. Provide families with referrals to appropriate community resources and additional support services when needed. Coordinate classroom preparation, cleanup, supplies, and learning materials. Support program outreach, public relations, staff meetings, and special events as assigned. Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and follow district and program policies, including confidentiality and safety procedures. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will bring: A strong commitment to the philosophies and goals of the ECFE program. Knowledge and experience in early childhood development and family dynamics. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and manage engaging classroom experiences. A collaborative, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience implementing and supervising early childhood classroom programming. A dedication to creating welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all families. Current CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to maintain these certifications as required. Working Environment & Physical Requirements Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment, with outdoor activities as needed. Ability to lift and move classroom materials and equipment and hold children weighing typically less than 50 pounds. Ability to walk up to one mile. Why Join Us?
