Child Care Worker Lakeview Covenant Church Duluth, MN Job Details Part-time $50 a day 1 day ago Benefits Food provided Qualifications Working with youth Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to join our team, committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives. (Great part-time opportunity for college students) Seeking candidates for 1-2 Thursday evenings per month from 6:15pm - approx 8:30pm. You are able to arrive early (5:45pm) to enjoy a free dinner. Criminal Background checks will be completed. Responsibilities Provide attentive care for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities. Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Support classroom routines such as snack times, diaper changes, and play. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians as necessary. Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and developmentally appropriate conduct. Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children
