Infant Teacher Job description: Calvary Childcare Center is a NAEYC-accredited, faith-based program in Golden Valley, Minn. We are looking for the right person to join our team of creative, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators. Our Infant room is a joyous, cozy, well equipped place for Infants to learn and grow in low adult:child ratios.. We believe that quality care for infants involves loving care routines, developmentally appropriate activities, and trusting relationships with parents/other caregivers. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to children ages 12 weeks to 16 months. Work with classroom teachers in the daily running of the classroom. This includes care routines, parent communication, and thoughtful activities & experiences, Be flexible to accommodate daily schedule changes. Supervise classroom aides. Foster relationships and communication with children, families and staff. Be a Christian role model for children, parents and other staff. Requirements Have a minimum of 2-year degree in Early Childhood or related field Meet DHS staff qualifications and training requirements Attend Staff meetings, training sessions and family events Maintain a neat and clean physical appearance.
