Candidates must be teacher qualified by MN Rule 9503 and meet other requirements through DHS. Our program will offer on/offsite paid training for continuing education. One-year experience in early childhood education preferred but not required. Candidates must work efficiently with their co-teachers, be flexible and have strong communication skills with their peers and families in our program. Job responsibilities include planning developmentally appropriate curriculum, creating and maintaining a child centered classroom. Our program offers families two enrollment options, preschool (9:30-12) from September to May and child care (7:30-5) which is year-round. The open position is in our 3/4-year-old classroom and would be a year-round position. The position would entail teaching preschool with your co-teachers and tending to the children's care giving needs. This position would be ~30 hours a week. We offer lower than state ratios in our classrooms with a capped number of children and 3 staff, this allows for a supportive work/ home life balance. Additional compensation for this position includes monthly bonuses, PTO, 12 paid holidays and 50% discount on child care.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
