Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Child Care Provider and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families! Responsibilities Supervise children attentively, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom or childcare environment Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or welfare Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines in accordance with best practices Apply child development instruction techniques to support individual learning needs and behavioral management Use classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and encourage cooperation among children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training encouraged Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Passion for teaching young children and supporting their growth through engaging activities Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication helps shape bright futures! Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
