Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. In this role, you will work along side the lead teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's individual needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through innovative teaching and compassionate care. Duties With the help of the lead teacher implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management Deliver comprehensive child development instruction tailored to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare policies at all times Manage classroom activities efficiently using effective classroom management strategies to support optimal learning experiences Experience MUST have College Credits (does not necessarily have to be in the education field) Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques Classroom experience involving classroom management Familiarity with special education practices and working with students who have diverse learning needs is a plus Valid certifications in first aid and CPR are required to ensure safety in emergency situations Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration are essential Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality childcare that fosters growth, learning, and joy!
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
