Job Description

We are looking for staff that can work: Part time 2:30pm
  • 6pm Monday
  • Friday Assistant Teacher The Assistant Teacher will be responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in the classroom for various activities including but not limited to: Child drop off times, serving Meals, bathroom Breaks/diapers, learning through child appropriate play and Curriculum Program, walks and outside play

  • Maintain positive and respectful communication with team members, children, and families.
  • Encourage children as they explore and develop skills.
  • Work as a team to assist the teacher with implementing lesson plans which promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Education and Experience:
  • Post secondary education in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Previous experience working in early childhood education or a related field Work Remotely No Aide Provide a safe, caring, and nurturing child care environment for children and families.

Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Previous experience working in early childhood education is a plus but NOT required Qualifications Must pass the Applicant Background Study required by the Department of Human Services Must have documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S Must meet the qualifications of an aide as defined under the Department of Human Services' Rule 3 requirements Must have the physical abilities to perform the following job duties: ○ to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid ○ to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses ○ to be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language ○ to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds ○ to use arms, hands, legs, and feet with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job, including evacuation of the building during emergencies
