Your Opportunity:

Golden Heart Child Care, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a Child Care Giver to care for children ages 3 to 6. This role is part of the center's team and is responsible for meeting the needs of each individual child, treating each child with dignity and respect, and building positive relationships with parents. This position also supports the center's program during the absence of the coordinator.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining a safe environment by observing appropriate equipment for children's developmental levels Assist in planning and implementing daily activities under the direction of the coordinator Plan and carry out developmentally appropriate activities Observe, record, and report individual child behavior as assigned

Your Shift:

Monday - Friday, hours between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

• 7 to 8 hour shifts

You Must Have:

Coursework that meets Minnesota DHS Assistant Teacher requirements Minimum two-year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications Willingness to perform duties in accordance with the center's policies and philosophy Physical ability to see and hear ongoing activities and lift up to 60 pounds

We Would Also Prefer:

Previous experience in child care or early education

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00 . The actual rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
