• Creates a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning
• Utilizes effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
• Fosters a love for learning through engaging activities and hands-on experiences.
• Collaborates with parents and guardians to support each child's educational journey.
• Monitors and assesses each child's progress and provides regular feedback to parents/guardians.
• Is able to meet the physical requirements of the job including lifting infants and sitting on the floor

Required Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma AND A minimum of 16 semester credits in an early childhood education related field OR CDA or a college degree (associates, bachelors, or masters) in an early childhood education related field OR Be a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse with no additional early childhood education or experience Minumum of 2 years experience in a childcare or preschool setting Able to lift 35 pounds and sit on the floor Teamwork and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of children in the classroom.
