Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to create a safe, christian, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and fostering their social, emotional, and developmental growth. Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning and fun for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities, tailoring approaches to meet individual needs Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child safety or well-being Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social skills among children Assist with classroom organization, activity setup, and cleanup to foster a structured learning environment Skills Experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to plan creative activities that stimulate learning and development for young children Strong child supervision skills with a focus on safety and attentiveness Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork Familiarity with daycare or classroom experience, including behavior management strategies Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality in all interactions Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing compassionate care that nurtures each child's potential.
