Bright Skies Childcare is an early childhood center in Belton, MO, dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm, family-centered environment. Our mission is to combine the strengths of play-based and teacher-guided learning while creating a place where children, families, and educators feel supported every day. We serve children from six weeks to five years old and are proud to offer a STEAM-inspired curriculum, real-time communication with families, nutritious meals prepared in-house, and a collaborative team culture where teachers are valued as professionals. Positions:
preschool co-teacher and part time float Responsibilities Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum Organize nap and feeding times and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Track children's progress and report to parents Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and the needs of the family Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Skills Proven experience Staff Qualifications complying with licensing CPR & First Aid Certified Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Patient, friendly, and reliable
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
