Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and compassionate Infant Teacher to join our dedicated team! The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, loves working with children, and understands the importance of play-based learning in helping young minds grow. This position serves children ages 6 weeks - 1.5 years , creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate daily activities aligned with the HighScope Curriculum. Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning through play and exploration. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through intentional teaching and observation. Maintain open, positive communication with families, encouraging partnership in each child's learning journey. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets state licensing and accreditation standards. Collaborate with teaching team members and administration to ensure consistency and quality in programming. Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate progress to families. Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and center events. Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred. CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) or willingness to obtain. Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 1.5 years in a licensed early childhood setting. Understanding of child development principles and play-based learning approaches. Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude. Strong communication and organizational skills. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
