Job Description

Job Summary:
Adventures In Learning Childcare Center is seeking an energetic and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Pre-K program. This role involves nurturing young learners and guiding them through foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social interaction. If you're passionate about early childhood education and want to make a meaningful impact in a child's early development, we'd love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engaging and age-appropriate activities in a structured Pre-K environment Support emotional and cognitive growth through interactive play, storytelling, arts, and educational exercises Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere Manage daily schedules including snack times, learning blocks, and outdoor activities Keep accurate records: attendance, incidents, developmental notes, and parent communication Collaborate with fellow educators and communicate effectively with parents Adhere to center policies and state childcare regulations Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; early education coursework a plus Minimum of 1 year working with young children in a professional setting Must pass background check, drug screening, and other state-required verifications CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain Strong interpersonal, planning, and communication skills Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and fostering a respectful classroom
