Conduct regular assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through regular updates and meetings. Manage classroom routines, including lesson planning, circle time activities, and transitions to ensure smooth daily operations. Incorporate specialized techniques such as Montessori or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences. Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare at all times. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Expertise in curriculum development that includes literacy education, math, physical education, and early intervention strategies. Knowledge of child development principles and childhood education best practices. Ability to implement behavior management techniques that foster positive social interactions. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with special education needs and experience supporting children with diverse learning requirements. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response in emergency situations. Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, standardized testing administration, and maintaining accurate records.
