Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through hands-on activities, classroom management, and personalized support. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment, encouraging good behavior, and assisting with behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, curiosity, and creativity. Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements such as autism or other developmental delays. Collaborate effectively with teachers to monitor student progress and adapt activities to meet individual learning needs. Communicate clearly with children, parents, and team members to foster a supportive community focused on early childhood education excellence. Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood curriculum development. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to support behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Technical proficiency in educational tools or classroom management software is desirable. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team and support early childhood learning initiatives.
