This position offers the opportunity to make a difference every day, excellent hours & a pleasant working environment. This specific teacher would be comfortable working with Toddlers and then also working as a float teacher where needed. In the state of Missouri you are required to 18 years of age or older to work with this age group.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities tailored for toddlers. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. Support classroom management by maintaining order and encouraging positive behavior among students. Engage with children through play and educational activities to promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. We view each learner as a whole child, striving to meet their intellectual, emotional, social and physical needs. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Childhood Development Associate degree or Associate's in Early Childhood Education preferred Previous experience as a care giver or teacher preferred Positive attitude & love for working with children Willingness to work with children 0-12 years of age Knowledge of NAEYC Developmentally Appropriate Practices, The Creative Curriculum and/or willingness to learn Must be at least 18 years old Paid Trainings Provided Logo Shirts (uniforms)
