Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a Float Teacher who is flexible, adaptable, and enjoys working with children of various age groups. This role supports multiple classrooms as needed and helps ensure smooth daily operations throughout the center. Job Responsibilities Provide support and coverage in multiple classrooms (infant, toddler, preschool, as assigned) Maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children Assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering/toileting, naps, and transitions Lead and participate in age-appropriate activities and play Step in seamlessly to support lead and assistant teachers Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Communicate effectively with staff and families when needed Follow all state licensing, health, and safety regulations Be flexible and adaptable with scheduling and classroom assignments Qualifications Experience working with young children (daycare or preschool preferred) Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups Reliable, patient, and positive team player Passion for early childhood education CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Background check required
