Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in a safe, nurturing environment, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development based on early childhood education principles Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behavior, and daily activities to support individualized care plans Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development, milestones, and any concerns Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Manage classroom routines such as meal times, nap schedules, diapering or potty training, and activity transitions with patience and professionalism Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development instruction and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire), including pediatric first aid training Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Strong classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management skills Excellent communication skills to foster positive parent relationships and team collaboration Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, enthusiasm, and a caring attitude Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and early childhood education standards Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
