In this role, you will support the daily operations of our childcare center by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and indoor/outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment conducive to learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws for child protection Help with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers as needed Participate in ongoing training related to child development instruction, behavior management, and emergency response procedures Requirements Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure quick response during emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Ability to effectively supervise children while demonstrating patience, compassion, and positive reinforcement Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Commitment to creating a safe environment that adheres to all health regulations and mandated reporting laws Join us in shaping young minds through engaging activities and compassionate care!
