Job Overview Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-5:30 PM Join our vibrant early childhood, Reggio-Inspired education team. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children 6 weeks -12 years. This position requires someone who is willing to get down on the floor, play, interact, and actively engage with the children throughout the afternoon. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development based on child development principles. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships. Follow all mandated reporting laws and health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures. Support classroom management by guiding children's behavior positively and using effective behavior management strategies. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that meet the individual needs of children with diverse abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs. Experience Prior experience working with children is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset. Familiarity with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and caregiving routines for young children. Knowledge of childcare regulations, including mandated reporting laws and health & safety standards such as first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and daycare center policies. Previous babysitting or caregiving experience with young children will be considered an advantage. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's growth journey. Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
