The ideal candidate will have a background in the food industry; bonus if you also have childcare experience. Duties include but not limited to... Food prep and cooking Maintaining a clean and organized space Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, State sanitation rules, and State licensing compliance Collaborate with Kitchen Manager, school admin and teachers to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure consistency with State licensing requirements and school standards Assist in sanitizing toys, bottles, and other items for the classrooms Assist Kitchen Manager with other varied tasks Qualifications Proven experience within a facility that cooks large quantities vs individual meals Certified in or willing to obtain ServSafe certification Experience with best practices and food handling procedures. Experience in childcare is a plus! Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Great time management skills The position requires someone to be available between 9:30am-3:30pm. Hours may vary week by week. This is a part-time position.
