Engage in child development instruction to support individual growth, including toddler care and special education needs when applicable. Apply behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and address challenges constructively. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations to maintain a safe and lawful environment. Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of early intervention techniques, childhood development principles, and literacy education methods such as Montessori or other educational philosophies. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during emergencies. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education considerations.
