In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Your enthusiasm for teaching young children will help foster a positive classroom atmosphere where curiosity and learning thrive. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in guiding children through their early developmental stages, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate all areas of the child development framework Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschoolers Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and emotional regulation Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing tools to monitor growth and tailor instruction accordingly Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and state licensing standards related to child welfare and safety protocols Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, behavioral incidents, and developmental progress reports Experience Previous classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in licensed daycare centers or private schools Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood learners Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies Familiarity with early intervention programs, literacy education methods, Montessori approaches, and standardized testing procedures Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage parents in their child's learning journey
