Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will play a vital role in promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.Duties:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a classroom setting
- Follow a plan provided and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior management
- Ensure the safety of all children by closely supervising their activities and maintaining a secure environment
- Administer basic first aid when needed and promptly seek medical attention for any emergencies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or nannying setting
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative activities
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
- First aid certification is preferred but not required This is a paid position that offers competitive compensation based on experience.
