Program Description:
The Moore Community House, Early Head Start Program provides early childhood education and health and family support services to low-income families with pregnant women, infants, and toddlers up to age 3.Position Summary:
A Moore Community House Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher encourages the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children ages 0-3 and is responsible for their safety and welfare. Our EHS teachers, along with families and colleagues, work to achieve meaningful progress of each child along his/her own unique developmental path. Responsibilities, include implementing the curriculum, preparing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, implementing family style dining, classroom management, individual child observations, conducting screening, maintaining records, making home visits, and scheduling and completing parent teacher conferences. Additionally, individuals in this position are responsible for obtaining outcome measures information to ensure that all policy, procedures, and guidelines are maintained to include local, state and Federal CFR 45 parts 1301, 1302, 1303, 1304 and 1305 definitions, 1302 School Readiness.Skills and Qualifications:
- CDA credential or an Associates or bachelor's degree in early childhood education (Required)
- FBI Background Check, or be able to successfully obtain an FBI Background Check (Required)

Pay:
$16.75- $19.
