Requirements Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or early childhood education setting is highly preferred. Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in first aid is encouraged. Knowledge of childhood development principles, infant care techniques, and classroom management strategies. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members while demonstrating patience and empathy. Familiarity with special education practices or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
