In this dynamic role, you will provide engaging, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care and instruction to toddlers, fostering a love for learning and supporting their overall growth. As a floater, you will also assist in various classrooms, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high-quality educational standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate curriculum development tailored to toddler developmental stages, including literacy education, early intervention strategies, and basic math concepts. Provide exceptional toddler care by creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional development and positive behavior management. Assist with classroom management and child development instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met through personalized attention and tailored lesson planning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and milestones to foster strong home-school connections. Support classroom activities by preparing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certifications. Collaborate with team members on curriculum implementation, classroom management techniques, and standardized testing procedures when applicable. Serve as a flexible floater across classrooms, stepping in wherever needed to maintain continuity of care and educational excellence. Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or private schools is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education needs and early intervention techniques. Experience with classroom management strategies, behavior management techniques, and child welfare best practices. Familiarity with curriculum development for toddlers and preschool-aged children, including Montessori or other specialized educational approaches. Strong communication skills for parent interactions and teamwork within a collaborative environment. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional qualifications in childhood education or preschool teaching are advantageous. Previous experience with physical education activities or tutoring young children can be beneficial for supporting holistic development.
