Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Provide toddler care while ensuring the well-being of each child. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques. Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive activities. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as needed. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements High School Diploma Mississippi Shot Record Must pass background check Proven experience in preschool or daycare settings; experience in nannying, babysitting, or childcare is a plus but not required. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
